ODIN 2026 GRANT CALL INTRODUCTION (AU+AAU)

ODIN is a unique collaboration platform that funds and facilitates open, precompetitive research leading towards drug discovery and new diagnostics. We bring together academics, clinicians, and industry partners to co-create innovative projects that drive scientific breakthroughs. All data created within the projects is openly shared without patents, ensuring broad accessibility.

• Existing: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD), Cardiometabolic diseases (CMD), Infectious diseases, Regenerative medicine, Disease-agnostic platform technologies, and research tools/methods for broader healthcare applications.
• NEW: Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders.

This session will cover:

• The 2026 scientific scope and Grant Type 1 call guidelines
• How to propose precompetitive project ideas, find academic and industrial partners, and develop a strong proposal
• Insights from an ODIN company partner (Karina Fog, Senior Director, Lundbeck)
• Experiences & Key Takeaways from 2025 ODIN Grantees

• PARTICIPANTS: At least one academic applicant and one industry partner
• LENGTH: Up to 3 years
• BUDGET FOR EACH PROJECT: Up to DKK 6,5 Million
• TOTAL FUNDING AVAILABLE: Up to DKK 52 Million
• PURPOSE: To address complex research problems inspired by unmet clinical needs
