2025 SCIENTIFIC SCOPE WITHIN GLOBAL HEALTH

FOCUS ON GLOBAL HEALTH

ODIN focuses on areas that hold a strong potential for the Danish ecosystem and global health in general. The overall focus is on the early, explorative (i.e. precompetitive) phases of drug discovery and clinical diagnostics. Highly innovative, high-risk projects are encouraged.

Core Scope

  • Cardiovascular and Cardiometabolic diseases
  • Infectious diseases
  • Regenerative medicine (new for 2025)

Expanded Scope (for broader healthcare applications)

  • Disease-agnostic platform technologies and research tools/methods

Research within the expanded scope areas of ODIN may extend beyond the core scope, provided it is clearly demonstrated how the technology, tool, or method can eventually be applied to at least one of the core scope areas.
