SmartSOIL has developing Fact sheets providing technical and economic information on five practices that promote good soil carbon management. These have been developed using scientific outputs from the project and in consultation with stakeholders. They are intended for use by advisers and farmers. the  practices are:

• Residue management
• Adding manure or compost
• Cover & catch crops
• Conservation agriculture
