“We live in a challenging time with climate change, loss of biodiversity and increasing demands for more plant-based.
At the Plant2Food kick-off event, I will discuss the importance of genetic diversity and how genetic resources can provide new possibilities in research and development projects within food and agriculture.
That’s why NordGen, among other things, has a strong focus on key stable crops like oats, protein sources like peas and beans, potatoes and crop wild relatives. We are looking into both phenomics and genomics to unlock the potential of large as well as minor species. “
