Each year, the event creates a shared space for visibility, dialogue, and collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and career stages — strengthening connections and creating momentum for future quantum activities, partnerships, and initiatives.

Building on the former QCA Annual Meeting, QCA Connect expands the format beyond an internal annual gathering to include external perspectives and create stronger interaction across academia, industry, and the broader quantum ecosystem.

Why QCA Connect?

Quantum research thrives when people connect across boundaries.

QCA Connect creates an annual opportunity to:

  • share developments and opportunities across QCA
  • showcase research, infrastructure, and emerging initiatives
  • strengthen connections across disciplines and sectors
  • create dialogue between academia, industry, and the broader ecosystem
  • generate new collaborations and future opportunities
  • strengthen the visibility and cohesion of the Aarhus quantum ecosystem

Each edition of QCA Connect brings together voices from academia and external organisations to create conversations that extend beyond institutional boundaries.

The ambition is to strengthen the Aarhus quantum ecosystem by turning visibility into collaboration and interaction into long-term engagement.

What happens at QCA Connect?

Each edition of QCA Connect varies in format and theme but is built around connecting perspectives from across the quantum ecosystem.

The programme typically combines contributions from both academia and external organisations and may include:
