The focus of Working Group 3 is to create a network on dairy packaging experts to deliver circular and sustainable supply chains. An immediate goal of this working group is to actively communicate with dairy industry, consumers, and stakeholders to find out their packaging interest, materials applied, and solutions. Due to the large range of products included in this group, studies will focus on selected categories (e.g. milk, fermented milk, cheese, and ice cream) and local products. Research will also aim to review the waste processing diversity of dairy packaging. The ultimate goal will be the development of state-of-the-art sustainable dairy packaging solutions.
