SESS members Trine Poulsen and Jordan Chetcuti participated in the 9th European Conference on Ecological Modelling, ECEM 2023, the 4th to 8th of September 2023, in Leipzig, Germany.
This year, the ECEM welcomes contributions that directly or indirectly supports tranformation, including strategies and models that focus on improving one or more of the following:
Representation of response mechanisims
Multi-criteria model evaluation
Model-data fusion
Sensitivity and robustness analyses
Upscaling and transferability to new regions
Link to management scenarios
Social-ecological systems
Transparency and reproducibility
Implementation and testing of theories and concepts
Multi-modelling synthesis
The SESS centre is involved in many of these aspects, and will present the following:
This course will provide the participants with a basic overview of ALMaSS and its components and show you where to start to create species models or new landscapes. The course is held the 18-22nd of October 2021.
The course is a 2+2 ECTS PhD course.
This course is now closed for registration.
