Tools of the Trade Data Science Webinar Series

We welcome all scientists within the Nordic EMBL Partnership, and their local collaborators, to join our online seminars and clinics covering topics in data science, informatics, and computational approaches and methods applicable in molecular medicine research.

Goals:

With these webinars, we expect that participants will be able to share knowledge and expertise, demonstrate how data science can be incorporated in onging reserach, and build interactions across the Nordic borders and beyond.

Format:

  • Online seminars consist of a 45 min topic presentation and 15 min for Q&A

  • Online clinics consist of two parts: 1) 30 min instructional topic overview presentation including a state-of-the-art review, new developments in the pipeline and 5 min Q&A and 2) 30 min clinic-like Q&A for those that wish to see how the methods are applied on sample data. Follow-up 1:1 meetings with the presenter/experts are welcomed and encouraged.
