Circul-a-bility Conferences

The previous Circul-a-bility conferences were successfully held in Bari, Italy, in 2021 and in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2022 with over 200 attendees.

This was an excellent opportunity to meet world leading researchers in the materials and food sectors in a small and informal environment. From these events, two special issues with over 15 scientific papers were published: One in Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture and the other is about to be published in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems. Especially for young researchers and researchers from inclusiveness target countries, these events are a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network and organize future research visits through the Cost action (STSMs) or otherwise. On a larger level, the conference was also the birthplace of several European research proposals.
