PI Day 2026

For Principal Investigators in the AUSBI community

Please join us on Friday 30^th January from 12:00–16:00, where we will meet for lunch and the first annual AUSBI PI Day.

During the meeting, the steering group will give a short status of AUSBI activities, followed by PI research presentations about their current research focus, early-stage research ideas, and challenges (with focus on collaboration opportunities). The program also includes a brainstorming session on ideas for event themes, speaker invites, and in general ways for how AUSBI can support the community.

Presentations will be selected and limited to 6 short talks with an informal format.
This PI Day is a half-day meeting for principal investigators only.

This informal afternoon workshop aims to:

Strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration across departments
Share ongoing research, early-stage ideas, and challenges
Identify potential collaborators and expertise needs
Generate ideas for joint funding applications and future network activities

Time: Friday 30^th Jan. 2026 from 12:00-16:00

Venue: AIAS room 1630-301, Aarhus University (Høegh-Guldbergs Gade 6B)
