👏 For the December seminar, Host Pillar had the honor of hosting Professor Michel Georges, Director of the GIGA Center at the University of Liège and a valued member of our Scientific Advisory Board.
📊 Professor Michel Georges gave a presentation titled "ABO genotype alters the gut microbiota by regulating GalNAc levels in pigs" and shared his insights on how specific microbes related to changes in ABO genotypes across generations in pigs. Professor Michel Georges also informed on how changes in the ABO genotype was shaping the intestinal mucosal environment and affecting specific microbes.
🎉This marks our third seminar since October 2023, and there has been so much positive feedback from the project participants! Looking ahead to the new year, we're excited to continue fostering understanding, interaction, and collaboration across our pillars and institutions.
