Professor Andreas Bäumler named to the National Academy of Sciences

Professor Andreas Bäumler, Microbiome Pillar Research Theme Lead for PIG-PARADIGM, has been elected to the National Academy of Sciences in recognition of his contributions to microbiome research.

Andreas Bäumler is Professor, Vice Chair of Research at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology in University of California, Davis. His research interests include Enteric Pathogens and the Host and its Gut Microbiota. Read more about Professor Bäumler’s bio here.
