PIG-PARADIGM is an international, cross-institutional and interdisciplinary AMR (antimicrobial resistance) project. Our primary strategic goal is to reduce the need for antibiotic use and minimize the risk of AMR by deciphering the key determinants of intestinal health in pigs. By translating this knowledge into strategies for enhancing pig health and robustness, we aim to provide tools for practical implementation to improve piglet and pig health, reduce the need for antibiotics, and thereby contributing to the overall reduction of AMR worldwide. 

During this session, our esteemed team of researchers will share valuable insights into the foundational aspects and objectives of our research, PIG-PARADIGM's interdisciplinary approach, and the potential impacts it will bring to pig feeding, breeding, and production industries.
