🚀 PIG-PARADIGM at Food System Microbiomes 2025! 🌱

We’re excited to highlight Mohak Gujare, PhD student from Host-Microbe Interactomics group at Wageningen University & Research, who represented PIG-PARADIGM at the Food System Microbiomes 2025 conference last week with a flash talk: "PREDICTING FUTURE: Using prognostic microbiome biomarker to predict Post weaning diarrhea (PWD) in piglets" and a poster presentation: "Pre-weaning microbiota signatures to predict antibiotic treatment requiring Post Weaning Diarrhea (PWD) in piglets".

🐖 In his talk and poster, Mohak presented work on prognostic microbiome signatures using pre-weaning microbiota composition to predict Post-weaning diarrhea (PWD) predisposition in piglets.

Mohak finds this opportunity very productive to get valuable feedback on his research topic and fruitful discussions on science talks about interconnectedness of microbiomes across food systems.
