🐷🧬October Monthly Seminar Recap! This month's seminar was organized by the Host Pillar and featured a presentation by Post Doc Emil Ibragimov from the University of Copenhagen. Emil's presentation, titled "Towards the Identification of New Genetic Determinants for Post-Weaning Diarrhea in Piglets", was based on his PhD research. He shared findings on how genetics plays a role in post-weaning diarrhea and provided a glimpse into how the Host Pillar plans to apply this approach to the large cohort study recently completed this summer, involving around 2,500 pigs.
A big thank you to Emil for his presentation and to the Host Pillar for organizing! 🙏 And thank you to all participants for their active engagement.
