New blog: Understanding E. coli infections: The impact of local inflammation

✨ Darya Vodolazska is a Post Doc at Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Aarhus University. Her research topic within PIG-PARADIGM includes gastrointestinal health, morphology and immunity of pigs, and intestinal inflammation and inflammatory markers.

🔬🐖🚶‍♀️Collaborating with PhD student Stine K. Østergaard(AAU), their work seeks to fill gaps in existing knowledge about how local inflammation influences the development and progression of E. coli infections. Beyond pigs, they aspire to translate their findings to human patients suffering from inflammatory bowel diseases.
