It's time for another Monthly Seminar! 🌟 For June, the Microbiome Pillar organized an enriching session where Dr. Andreas Bäumler from the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of California, Davis, gave a talk titled “Colonization Resistance: A Host-Microbe Chimera.”
In 2023, Dr. Bäumler was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in recognition of his contributions to microbiome research. His lab focuses on host-microbe interactions in the gut, read more about their work here.
