Updates on the April PIG-PARADIGM Monthly Seminar 🐷🔬 For this seminar, the Nutrition Pillar delved into the fascinating topic of oxidative stress.

We kicked off the seminar with an insightful introduction by Charlotte Lauridsen, Coordinator of PIG-PARADIGM and Head of Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Aarhus University, who provided a comprehensive overview of oxidative stress.

Following Charlotte's introduction, Andrew Williams, member of the Nutrition Pillar leadership committee and associate professor at University of Copenhagen, presented on the "Importance of oxidative stress during infectious disease."

Following Andrew's presentation, Jerry Wells, esteemed member of the Microbiome Pillar leadership committee and professor at Wageningen University & Research, shared insights on the "Effects of oxidative stress on the mucosal barrier."
