"I'm establishing patient-derived cancer cell models. One of the methods that we use to characterise our cell models is IF staining with cancer-specific markers. This image is one of the thousands of characterisation images I have taken during my time at FIMM. I think it nicely tells you the story of heterogeneity of patient-derived cancer cells. I see an annoying contradiction in that image: cells are somehow playful and, in a way, beautiful although the cells are from an advanced state of cancer."
