LESIA

Laser-Engineered Surfaces and Interfaces for Advanced Batteries

LESIA is a 4-year EU-funded MSCA Staff Exchanges project developing bio-inspired, laser-engineered surfaces for next-generation batteries. By combining nature-inspired design, advanced laser fabrication and operando characterisation, the project addresses fundamental interface challenges that limit battery performance, safety and longevity.
