The COBRA network linked up existing organic breeding initiatives from 40 partners and 20 countries. In this video, COBRA coordinator Bruce Pearce from the Organic Research Centre summarizes some of the most important achievements. For Seed producers a new tool for seed health diagnostics has been developed. For farmers and advisors the project showed that intercropping and the use of Composite Cross Populations improve the resilience of organic farming systems. For Policy makers, information on current legal, institutional and socio-economic drivers has been provided.
