Kick-off Symposium 2026 was a succes!
AUBBIN held its first symposium featuring a series of flash talks and interest group discussions.
On 29 April, AUBBIN held its first symposium, bringing together researchers from across the network for an afternoon of flash talks and interest group discussions.
The programme featured a wide range of short presentations covering topics such as "brain–body interactions", “body and eating physiology and behaviour”, and “topological analysis”. The flash talks provided a strong starting point for discussions on how AUBBIN can develop as a collaborative network and where researchers may benefit from combining their expertise.
In smaller interest groups, participants explored potential focus areas, shared ideas, and discussed how they can use the network to develop new collaborations and investigate shared research questions.
The day passed quickly and led to many valuable conversations and discussions. The steering group looks forward to more fruitful AUBBIN symposia in the future.
