Stine Detjens

Stine is a postdoctoral researcher based at the Department of Geoscience,  Aarhus University in Denmark.  

Her research background lies in archaeogeophysics, marine geophysics, and geoarchaeology with a chronological focus on the Late Palaeolithic. She is experienced in both onshore and offshore geophysical data acquisition, as well as in integrating geophysical data with sediment core analyses and GIS-based spatial analysis.

Within the SUBNORDICA project, Stine is contributing to WP2 focused on the eastern North Sea region. She will assess the potential of legacy data from windfarm projects for archaeological research and evaluate the preservation potential of submerged archaeological sites in the North Sea.
