Andreas Duus Petersen

Andreas is a PhD student in marine geophysics and geology at the Department of Geoscience, Aarhus University, Denmark.

His research focuses on paleolandscape reconstruction in the Danish North Sea, integrating geophysical, geotechnical, and geological datasets. He investigates the evolution of low‑relief landscapes during periods of rising sea levels, with particular emphasis on reconstructing coastal processes and landscape change during marine transgressions.

Within SUBNORDICA, Andreas contributes to WP2 through detailed interpretation of marine geophysical, geotechnical, and core data, supporting both landscape reconstruction and assessments of preservation conditions.
