About the speaker
Michael Kues is University Professor of Photonic Quantum Technologies at the Institute of Photonics, Leibniz University Hannover, where his group develops scalable photonic quantum systems using fiber and integrated-optics platforms. His research spans quantum frequency-comb sources, frequency-bin encoding, and methods that allow quantum signals to coexist with conventional data in optical-fiber networks—key steps toward practical quantum communications. He is also part of the PhoenixD Cluster of Excellence in Hannover.
