The approach for this study is to locate bowhead whales in the assessment area or along the coast of East Greenland and instrument them with satellite transmitters. The fieldwork will use a helicopter based on a Norwegian research vessel to locate and approach the whales. Tracks of whales and main area usage will be developed.
