It is with great pleasure we can announce that Simona Zetterberg-Nielsen has been awarded the Nils Klim Prize 2023!

Simona Zetterberg-Nielsen is awarded the prize "for her research into the history of the Danish novel, its narrative structure and its fictionality, as well as how literature relates to the world of individual and social experiences." (Holbergprisen: holbergprize.org)

Nils Klim Committee Chair, Professor Ástráður Eysteinsson says: “Zetterberg-Nielsen points to how fictionality is not limited to literary discourse for it plays a vital role in everyday conversation – and she is now turning her attention to the ways in which it pertains to science. The broad relevance of her impressive scholarship is highlighted by one of the key predicaments of our times, namely the unreliability of mankind’s ever-broadening technical modes of communication.”
