The workshop aims to bring together international experts working on degenerations and collapsing of canonical Riemannian metrics (e.g., Einstein metrics), with special emphasis on the Kähler situation.
This is a very active area of current research, where geometric ideas mix with techniques from different directions, ranging from geometric analysis (e.g., geometric PDEs, pluripotential theory, RCD spaces) to algebraic geometry (e.g., algebro geometric moduli compactifictations, singularity theory).
All people interested in these topics or neighboring areas are highly encouraged to participate, in particular young researchers (PhD students, postdocs).
