Invitation to "AUSBI cryo-EM Afternoon Meeting" on Thursday 11 December 2025

On Thursday 11 December 2025 from 13:00-17:30, AUSBI is hosting an afternoon meeting focusing on cryo-EM/ET and microED, where we will explore techniques and know-how available to researchers at Aarhus University. The aims of the meeting is to share experiences with relevant techniques, and to connect research groups across AU who share an interest in cryo-EM.

At the meeting, we will have the pleasure of having invited speakers Azadeh Shahsavar (University of Copenhagen) and Rainer Kaufmann (University of Hamburg) presenting their research and methods expertises, besides local AUSBI researchers working with cryo-EM, who will also be presenting their methods and know-how.

Please register via this link: https://event.au.dk/events/ausbi-cryoem-afternoon-meeting
Please register by Friday 5th December (free of charge), so we can order catering accordingly.

The meeting is open to everyone interested across AU departments, and we strongly encourage both group leaders, junior researchers, and students to join.
Participants are highly encouraged to bring a poster about their research (re-use of existing posters are perfectly fine).

Note that group leaders are highly encouraged to participate, also in order to stimulate attendance for the rest of their group, and bring forward valuable input about possible method-expertise and collaborations across groups and departments.

Organizers:

  • Rasmus Kock Flygaard, Dept. Molecular Biology and Genetics, AU
  • Max Clabbers, iNANO, AU
  • Emil L. Kristoffersen, iNANO, AU

Please register by Friday 5th December (free of charge), so we can order catering accordingly.
