Policy tools for Baltic Sea nutrient management

BONUS TOOLS2SEA is a synthesis project of the BONUS research program. It will summarize research results and insights from a broader array of studies, projects and publications available in the international literature, as well as in national languages of the Baltic Sea region. It will synthesize potentials and practical experiences with specific policy instruments designated for nutrient management, while placing and analyzing these in context of the domestic and regional governance institutions in place in Baltic Sea countries and beyond. BONUS TOOLS2SEA will identify critical gaps in current knowledge and knowledge translations into practice to provide suggestions for future institutional arrangements, pilot experiments in nutrient management and innovations in policy instruments, as well as for improvements in the knowledge base.

The research collaboration will run for 1½ years (2018-2020) and has four partners from Baltic Sea countries;
