This project will develop a database with a tool to support the identification of the sampled benthic data, which is collected to describe the benthic fauna communities as part of environmental baseline studies performed by the companies around the drilling locations.  The tool will assist in species identifications to the oil companies and their consultants, and will hence strengthen the quality assurance of data submitted to the DCE/GINR biological database.
