This project will obtain quantitative sampling of benthic soft and hard fauna communities and produce habitat maps of the Greenland Sea shelf area by combining the fauna data with available knowledge of the physical environment.  This work will feed into a more general documentation of benthic biodiversity and food web structure, and it will provide basic knowledge for assessing environmental sensitivity and of the area.
