Midterm meeting will gather all FACCE SURPLUS projects
Industrial valorisation, knowledge transfer and science-policy interface is on the agenda when FACCE SURPLUS representatives meet in Paris in mid-November.
FACCE SURPLUS is half way through the project period and therefore a midterm meeting will take place in Paris on the 15th and 16th of November 2017. This event will also be the midterm meeting of the FACCE SURPLUS research projects selected in the frame of the 1st call. Representatives from all 14 FACCE SURPLUS research projects have been invited to the midterm meeting and an interesting program awaits them.
- I am very excited to have this chance to gather researchers and stakeholders from all the different projects around Europe. This is a great chance for everyone to share experiences and knowledge, and to focus on valorisation aspects, in particular the potential of those projects towards industry, farmers, and policy makers, says Nicolas Tinois who is the project coordinator of FACCE SURPLUS.
Four keynote presentations will focus on how research can make its way to policy-makers, end-users and to industrial valorisation. After the presentations, the participants will have the chance to elaborate on the subjects in groups.
The midterm meeting will also be the opportunity to discuss and further develop future activities within FACCE SURPLUS.
