Associate professor Britta Timm Knudsen, DAC

This workshop presents various perspectives on the contemporary “grand narratives” of sustainability and social innovation. They are both considered key concepts in taking care of and developing the resources societies must live on in the future. The care for the planet, new ways of imagining economic growth and the necessity of social inclusion and equality and new distributions of majority and minority worlds must work together in order to secure well fare and well being for future generations. In this workshop we present a series of enterprising initiatives that take up the challenge of sustainability, growth and innovation presented by researchers and practitioners.
