Friendship in the Face of Dementia

Janelle Taylor has done extensive work on dementia in a US context and is currently working on a project which mobilizes methods, concepts, and scholarly literatures from anthropology to produce new understanding of how friendship can be understood and practiced in the face of dementia. She will participate in the yearly seminars of the project in Denmark, bringing her ethnographic data in conversation with our phenomenological explorations of radical uncertainty and the search for the good old life.
