With support from the Culture Moves Europe program, our team participated in a cultural exchange to Georgia April 11-19, 2026. During our intensive program, we did an excursion to Rustavi and visited the Millennium school, which specializes in English language education. We were warmly received by director Guram Burdiladze and attended an impressive performance by students of the middle grades who presented Georgian songs and traditional dances. At the school we had the possibility of participating in the students’ reading clubs of English literature in the 5^th, 7^th and 10^th grade and experienced the school’s innovative methods of interactive learning, group work, students’ creative work with storytelling and illustrations at different educational levels. The day was topped by a culinary club event where children, educators and guests together prepared national dishes of Georgia and shared the meal. We thank our hosts for their hospitality and the unique opportunity to gain insights into progressive language learning and reading methods.

Клуби читачів у Грузії

За підтримки програми «Culture Moves Europe» наша команда взяла участь у культурному обміні в Грузії з 11 по 19 квітня 2026 року. Під час насиченої програми ми здійснили екскурсію до Руставі та відвідали школу «Millennium», яка спеціалізується на викладанні англійської мови. Нас тепло зустріла директорка Гурам Бурділадзе, і ми стали свідками вражаючого виступу учнів середніх класів, які виконали грузинські пісні та традиційні танці. У школі ми мали можливість взяти участь у роботі учнівських клубів читання англійської літератури у 5^-му, 7^-му та 10^-му класах і ознайомилися з інноваційними методами школи, що передбачають інтерактивне навчання, групову роботу, творчу діяльність учнів із розповідями та ілюстраціями на різних освітніх рівнях. Завершився день відвідуванням шкільного кулінарного клубу, де діти, педагоги та гості разом готували національні страви Грузії та куштували їх разом. Ми дякуємо приймаючій стороні за гостинність та унікальну можливість ознайомитися з прогресивними методами вивчення мови та читання.
