1st Ghana field trip update:

Update - 25-02-2020:

The PEPP project has moved to Ghana on an intensive field trip, staying in Tema from February 17th to March 11th. During the first part of the trip, PEPP has had contact with several key stakeholders, arranging interviews with representatives of shipping companies, stevedoring companies, GPHA officials and tugboat masters among others. We also visited key sites relevant to the port of Tema. Of much interest to PEPP are the berthing meetings held three times a week that PEPP have attended regularly since the start of the project, as well as four times during this field trip.

In the coming days members of PEPP will visit the Public Records and Archives Department (PRAAD) in Accra, have a debriefing at the Danish embassy, continue going to berthing meetings, as well as continuing the very fruitful conversations and interviews with key stakeholders related to Tema Port.

Stay tuned for more updates!
