The ECS board consists of representatives of the Nordic countries. ECS board members are PhD students or researchers with maximum 4 years of full-time experience since the PhD degree was awarded. The ECS board members are elected at the ordinary annual meeting for a period of two years. The president and the vice president are elected within the ECS board. The ECS president participates in the NOSA main board meetings without voting rights. 

The ECS board is responsible for

• Organising tutorials and activities targeted at early carreer scientists at the NOSA symposia and NOSA organised conferences.
• Contributing to the dissemination of information about courses and activities relevant for early career scientist within aerosol science.
