Outreach

On this page, we cover everything to do with advancing scientific and public knowledge about arthropods. We’ll summarise and collate recent published papers and reports here and also host other forms of Outreach. We’ll also host the old “Featured Arthropods” page here. That page is looking a bit bare, having not been updated since 2016, so if you want to write something about your favourite arthropod, send it in!

To notify the community of any forms of knowledge sharing, send info to Mark or email the whole group and we’ll pick it up.

A teaching tool for Arctic invertebrates

Any input or corrections gratefully received!

Here's a great tool for learning about Arctic biodiversity, with a focus on Svalbard: https://www.learningarcticbiology.info/

It is essentially a tool for teaching at UNIS (University Centre in Svalbard), but it can be useful more widely as well. The invertebrate page is here, where there are links to many other pages. The information is as up to date as possible, but if you spot any mistakes or have any input, the authors would love to know. You can find their contact info at the bottom of the webpage.
