Voices from the Workplace: Employers and Professionals on Languages and Employability

In this section, employers and professionals working in multilingual and intercultural contexts share their per-spectives on the value of language skills and intercultural competences in today’s job market.

They were invited to respond to a selection of questions from our Employability Skills Mapping Tool, reflecting on topics such as the relevance of language and intercultural competence in recruitment, career development, collaboration and professional identity. Some speak from the perspective of hiring managers, others from their own career journeys where language skills have played a key role.

These videos offer authentic, real-world insights that complement the Employability Skills Mapping Tool and the online module. They are intended to help you better understand how language skills are perceived outside the university — and how they can become a genuine asset in your professional life.

Watch, reflect and gain inspiration from those already navigating the path from Campus to Career.
