Symposium | Frictionless Digitalisation and the Work Behind
Pernille Bertelsen presents insights from the project at symposium in Aalborg (DK) on October 4th 2021

How is the ambition for seamless services demanding new kinds of work? With this question, the symposium Frictionless Digitalisation and the Work Behind brings into focus the demanding and oft-invisible work required to create and maintain frictionless digitalisation. Here, Pernille Bertelsen presents insights form the project and explains how seamless and frictionless integration of health information is a strategical ideal, but often data cannot flow unhindered; data workers, such as medical secretaries and BI developers, are crucial to make information flow and work properly.
The symposium is arranged by CBS’s Digital Transformation platform in cooperation with ITU’s Center for Digital Welfare and Aalborg University. It will be held at Kunsten MoMA Aalborg on the 4th of October.
Accordingly, written material with contributions from the presenters is published. You can download the leaflet here to read Pernille Bertelsen and Claus Bossen’s contribution Data Work in eHealthcare (only available in Danish).
