The role of plant secondary compounds in belowground interactions and communication
The Chemical Ecology Platform (CEP) is an interdisciplinary project under the faculty of Science and Technology, and it includes researchers from various fields. CEP have been established with the purpose of strengthening the scientific capacity of the participating departments and centers. The participants are Bioscience, Chemistry, iNANO, Geoscience and Agroecology.
The platform focus on plant secondary compounds and combine expertise and methodology available across institutes and are developing new methods for determination of presence and concentration of plant secondary compounds in the soil, and in cell membranes and extracellular structures of organisms exposed to these compounds.
