Conference in Copenhagen on Exploring Social Inequalities in the Palaeolithic and Neolithic of Europe and Southwest Asia

The conference “Exploring Social Inequalities in the Palaeolithic and Neolithic of Europe and Southwest Asia” was held on October 28, 2022, organized by University of Copenhagen. The theme of the conference was an investigation into how social inequalities emerged in the Palaeolithic and Neolithic of Europe and Southwest Asia, and the need to critically rethink the area of study.
Among other keynote speakers was one of the most influential and famous archaeologists Professor Ian Hodder from Koç University, Istanbul.
Mette Løvschal gave a keynote lecture with the title: Anthropogenic Heathlands: Rhythms of Rejuvenation and Radical Social Resetting.
She examined the heathland as a nature for rethinking radical more-than-human equality in her talk.
