Forschungszentrum JUELICH: Conduct research to provide comprehensive solutions to the grand challenges facing society in the three fields of energy and environment, information and brain research. JUELICHs aim is to lay the foundation for the key technologies of tomorrow.
JUELICH is the Coordinator of the project, represented by Nicolas Tinois. The primary role of the coordinator is to represent the consortium towards the EC as well as to be the promoter and controller of the overall progress of FACCE SURPLUS.
Responsible for WP 1, Management of the consortium, WP 2, Preparing and launching the co-funded call and WP 6, implementing a joint programme.
BMEL, The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture: Committed to achieve the objectives of a balanced, healthy diet and safe foods, clear information for consumers when purchasing food, strong and sustainable agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors, and good prospects for German rural areas.
Responsible for WP 3: Evaluation and selection of proposals.
DASTI, Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation: The Ministry aims to create knowledge, growth and welfare in by ensuring that students, researchers and teachers, as well as businesses and public institutions have increasingly better conditions for carrying out research, study and innovation. The vision is to create the best possible conditions for research, study and innovation in Europe.
Responsible for WP 4: Assessment and Monitoring.
DCA, Danish Centre for Food and Agriculture: Ensures that research at Aarhus University (AU) contributes to an environmentally and economically viable development within agriculture and food production. DCA accomplishes a series of tasks – research-based public-sector consultancy, innovation and cooperation, knowledge exchange and communication, national and international research cooperation and research basis.
Responsible for WP 5, Communication.
INRA, French National Institute for Agricultural Research: produces scientific knowledge and works for economic and social innovation in the areas of food, agriculture and the environment.
Responsible for WP 7, Short and long-term strategy on sustainable and resilient agriculture.
