In this video, HealthyGrowth coordinator Egon Noe summarises the important factors for successful value chains: They are all based on long-term partnership and all partners involved are aware on the mutual dependency. They have developed a common communication platform.

Egon Noe also points out the importance of involving the intermediate actors like processors and retailers of the chain. In the past their role has not been acknowledged enough. Policy should not focus only on regulation and certification but also on how to support the chain actors in the mediation of values, Noe says.
