This project is a peer learning project funded by Erasmus+. During the project, participants from three countries – Ireland, Belgium and Denmark explore Family Day Care – the legislation, policies, governance, quality management, professionalization of staff, workforce development, recruitment, and retention strategies in the three countries. The aim also is to influence target groups, stakeholders, and policy makers in order to strengthen and enhance quality in Family Day Care.
The Erasmus + project “Enhancing Quality in Family Day Care” is funded by the European Union and led by Early Childhood Ireland. Three organisations are partnering on the implementation, including Aarhus Universitet (Denmark), Vernieuwing In De Basisvoorzieningen Voor Jonge Kinderen - VBJK (Belgium), and Vlaams Welzijnsverbond (Belgium). This project runs from 2023-2025.
