Ukrainian Scholars’ Day IV
On 6 March 2024, the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters and the European-Ukrainian Hub in Copenhagen hosted Ukrainian Scholars’ Day IV.

This annual event provides an important platform for fostering academic exchange and dialogue on pressing cultural and societal issues related to Ukraine. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the research project “PUBLISH: Children’s Books in the Russia-Ukraine War,” delivered by Associate Professor Birgitte Pristed from Aarhus University, Denmark, and Professor Nadiia Pavlyk from Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University, Ukraine.
This year’s Ukrainian Scholars’ Day IV was a testament to the resilience of Ukrainian academia, even amidst adversity. It also underscored the value of international partnerships in addressing complex global challenges. The event brought together a diverse audience of scholars, educators, and cultural advocates, fostering meaningful discussions and exchanges.
We extend our gratitude to all participants and organisers who made this inspiring event possible, and we look forward to future collaborations that continue to highlight Ukraine’s cultural and academic contributions.
