Course details


The students are expected to have knowledge in animal science including anatomy and physiology, animal genetics, and animal nutrition

Compulsory programme

Participation in discussion groups and exercises.

Participation in excursions to and discussions with hatchery, feed mill, slaughterhouse, broiler producer and egg producer.

Course assessment

Group presentations on key elements of the poultry production chain at the end of the course. The performance of the participants will be evaluated as passed/not passed. 


200 Euro will be charged covering materials and other direct costs. The department will provide help to find appropriate accommodation for the course participants. Expenses related to accommodation are not included in the course fee.
