"While everyone knows that water turns into ice crystals at 0°C, fewer are aware of another solid crystalline form called gas hydrates. These structures, composed of water and guest molecules, form above 0°C and occur naturally or can be synthesized in a lab. With limited research on gas hydrate applications in the food industry, in-depth studies are needed to explore their potential use in food processing and preservation. This presentation aims to delve into possible applications and invites industrial collaboration for upcoming research funding opportunities."
