March 3., Dr. Annette Skovsted Hansen hosted the Japan Alumni and Researcher Assembly (JARA) event entitled Maritime Research in Japan and Denmark - Opportunities for Collaboration and Funding. The event was funded by the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Tokai Alumni Association Denmark and more than 50 people attended in person and online. Participants came from Netherlands, Japan, Ghana, and Sweden besides Denmark and from disciplines ranging from electrical engineering, mathematics, and economics to history, anthropology, and bioscience.
